The Thomas “Tommy” J. Yewcic Award recognizes individuals whose dedication, generosity, and service have made a meaningful impact on Arlington’s youth. Presented annually by the Touchdown Club of Arlington, the award celebrates those who give their time and energy to strengthening the community, particularly through youth athletics and sports.

Named in honor of Tommy Yewcic, a former Boston Patriots player, professional baseball player, Arlington resident, and longtime Touchdown Club member, the award carries forward his commitment to athletics, service, and community. His legacy serves as a reminder of the lasting impact one person can have by supporting and creating opportunities for the next generation.

The Thomas “Tommy” J. Yewcic Award honors individuals who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to volunteerism and community service benefiting Arlington youth. Special consideration is given to those whose involvement in athletics, youth programs, mentorship, or other community initiatives reflects the values of leadership, service, and dedication that Tommy represented.

More than an annual recognition, the Thomas “Tommy” J. Yewcic Award celebrates the spirit of giving back. Each recipient represents the values at the heart of the Touchdown Club of Arlington—supporting young people, strengthening community connections, and using athletics as a positive force in the lives of Arlington’s youth.
